Eating Is An Agricultural Act

"Some, I know, will think it bloodthirsty or worse to eat a fellow creature you have known all its life. On the contrary, I think, it means that you eat with understanding and with gratitude." -Wendell Berry

"Eating is an agricultural act, a political act. Eating ends the annual drama of the food economy that begins with planting and birth." -Wendell Berry

  1. Hi, My name is Julie (jewel), I found you looking for other farm and garden blogs in Snohomish County. I just looked at this one post of yours, and noticed what looked like Creme d'Argent(sp)rabbits. I'm interested in getting a breeding pair.

I have been writing for the last couple months on my blog, nice to find another farmer, gardener, writer and cook in the NW. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog.

  2. Hi, Julie-jewel! The rabbits in this photo are Palomino rabbits, a breed I really, really like. I do not have any that are for sell, but there are several serious rabbit breeders in our county, so you should be able to find some of a breed you like. Good Luck. And Thanks for reading my blog!
